About Carol Pye

I am a landscape artist working plein air to capture the moods and seasons of Nova Scotia. My works are done rapidly and intuitively to reflect my experience of the land in a particular moment. Many regions of Nova Scotia have inspired my work, the Bay of Fundy, the Parrsboro region, the Cape Breton Highlands

and the Annapolis Valley. I have a particular love of the historical landscape of Grand Pre.

My works are sold through Nova Scotia galleries such as Teichart Gallery in Halifax. They are also held in many private collections in Canada and elsewhere.
